Receiver/Dryer Removal and Installation (K9K Model)
Removal
1) Recover refrigerant from A/C system by referring to “Recovery” in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charging .
NOTE:
The amount of removed compressor oil must be measured for replenishing compressor oil.
2) Remove front bumper.
3) Remove two bolts of liquid pipes, and then disconnect liquid pipes from receiver/dryer.
4) Remove two bracket bolts (1).
5) Remove receiver/dryer with its bracket by pulling it out upward.
6) Remove bracket from receiver dryer.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install receiver/dryer noting the following instructions.
• Replenish specified amount of compressor oil to compressor suction side by referring to “Replenishing Compressor Oil” in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charging .
• Evacuate and charge refrigerant by referring to “Evacuating of A/C System” and “Charging of A/C System” in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charging .
