Receiver/Dryer Desiccant Removal and Installation (M13A Model)
Removal
1) Remove condenser assembly referring to Condenser Assembly Removal and Installation (M13A Model) .
2) Remove circlip (1), receiver/dryer cap (2) and filter (3).
3) Remove desiccant.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install desiccant noting the following instructions.
• Do not remove desiccant from the plastic bag until just before inserting it into the receiver.
• Replenish specified amount of compressor oil to compressor suction side by referring to “Replenishing Compressor Oil” in Operation Procedure for Refrigerant Charging .
• Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the fitting surface of the O-ring and the cap.
