DTC C1071 (No.71): ABS Control Module

[B]: For K9K engine model 1. Battery 3. ABS hydraulic unit / control module assembly
Circuit Description
This DTC will be set when an internal fault is detected in the ABS control module.
Troubleshooting

Was ABS Check performed?
Go to Step 2.
Go to ABS Check .
2
1) Clear all DTCs and check DTC.
Is it DTC C1071 (DTC 71)?
Go to Step 3.
Could be a temporary malfunction of the ABS control module.

1) Check for proper connection of ABS hydraulic unit / control module connector and check the followings.
• Voltage “E142-1” terminal: 10 – 14 V
• Voltage “E142-3” terminal: 10 – 14 V
• Resistance between each terminal of “E142-2”, “E142-4” and vehicle body ground: Continuity
Are the check result as specified?
Replace ABS hydraulic unit / control module assembly.
Repair “WHT/BLE” wire and/or “BLK” wire circuit and recheck.
