DTC C1041, C1042 / C1045, C1046 / C1055, C1056 (No.41, 42 / 45, 46 / 55, 56): Right-Front / Left-Front / Rear Solenoid Circuit
Wiring Diagram
[A]: ABS hydraulic unit / control module connector E142 (viewed from terminal side) 2. Main fuse box 4. Solenoid valve
1. Battery 3. ABS solenoid valve relay (transistor) 5. ABS hydraulic unit / control module assembly
Circuit Description
The ABS control module monitors the voltage of the terminal of the solenoid circuit constantly with the ignition switch turned ON. It sets this DTC when the terminal voltage does not become low/high for the ON/OFF command to the solenoid or the voltage difference between solenoid circuit terminals exceeds the specified value with the solenoid turned OFF.
Troubleshooting
Step Action YES NO
1
Was ABS Check performed?
Go to Step 2.
Go to ABS Check .
2
1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
2) Disconnect ABS hydraulic unit / control module connector.
3) Check for proper connection to ABS hydraulic unit / control module connector at terminal “E142-1”, “E142-2” and “E142-4”.
4) If OK, then measure voltage between the following terminals.
Terminal “E142-1” and “E142-2”.
Terminal “E142-1” and “E142-4”.
Is it 10 – 14 V?
Substitute a known-good ABS hydraulic unit / control module assembly and recheck.
“WHT/BLU” or “BLK” circuit open.
