4WD control module power supply circuit check
1)
Disconnect 4WD control module connector with ignition switch OFF.
2)
Measure voltage between “YEL/RED” wire terminal of 4WD control module connector and vehicle body ground with ignition switch turned ON.
Is voltage 10 – 14 V?

Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck.

Go to Step 2.

“4WD” fuse check
1)
Check “4WD” fuse.
Is it in good condition?

Go to Step 3.
|
Check 4WD control module power supply circuit (“YEL/RED” wire) for short to ground. If OK, replace “4WD” fuse.

1)
Check 4WD control module power supply circuit (“BLK/RED” wire) for open.
Is it in good condition?

Faulty of battery or charging system.

Repair or replace 4WD control module power supply circuit.
