Monitor signal of 4WD low switch is ON even if monitor signal of 4WD switch is OFF. |

DTC Confirmation Procedure
1)
Turn ignition switch to ON position.
DTC Troubleshooting

4WD low switch check
1)
Check 4WD low switch.
Is it in good condition?
|
Go to Step 2.
|
Replace 4WD low switch.
|

Check 4WD low switch signal circuit
1)
Disconnect 4WD control module connector with ignition switch OFF.
2)
Check 4WD low switch signal circuit (“BLU/WHT” wire) for short to ground.
Is it in good condition?

Go to Step 3.
|
Repair or replace 4WD low switch signal circuit.

1)
Check 4WD switch.
Is it in good condition?
|
Go to Step 4.
|
Replace 4WD switch.

Check 4WD switch signal circuit
1)
Disconnect 4WD control module connector with ignition switch OFF.
2)
Check 4WD switch signal circuit (“BLU/BLK” wire) for open.
Is it in good condition?
|
Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck.
|
Repair or replace 4WD switch signal circuit.
