Turn ignition switch to OFF position.

Disconnect 4WD control module connector “E188”.
3)
Turn ignition switch to ON position.
Does indicator come ON?

Go to Step 2.

Substitute a known-good 4WD control module and recheck.

Remove combination meter referring to
Combination Meter Removal and Installation
.
3)
Measure resistance the followings.
•
Between “G93-12” of combination meter connector and vehicle body ground.
• Between “G93-16” of combination meter connector and vehicle body ground.
Is each resistance 1 MΩ or more?

Substitute a known-good combination meter and recheck.
|
“RED/BLU” wire and/or “RED/WHT” wire circuit shorted to ground.
