Main Bearings, Crankshaft and Cylinder Block Components

Cylinder block
: Apply RHODOSEAL 5661® referring to “Installation” under Main Bearings, Crankshaft and Cylinder Block Removal and Installation:K9K . |

Crankshaft
: Apply engine oil to sliding surface. |
7.
|
Main bearing cap bolt
: Tighten 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.0 lbf-ft) and 47° by the specified procedure. |

Thrust bearing
: Apply engine oil to sliding surface. |
8. | Oil jet |

4.
|
Flywheel side crankshaft oil seal
: Apply engine oil to oil seal lip. |

Tightening Torque |

5.
|
Main bearing
: Apply engine oil to bearing inside surfaces. |

|
Do not reuse. |
