Intercooler Removal and Installation
Removal
1) Remove front bumper.
2) Remove intercooler inlet hose (1) and outlet hose (2) from intercooler.
3) Remove intercooler (3) and its bracket (4).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the following.
• Install intercooler hose clamp (1) in specified direction as shown in figure.
[A]: Upper side
• Tighten intercooler bracket bolts and intercooler hose clamps (1) to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Intercooler bracket bolt : 25 N·m ( 2.5 kg-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
Intercooler hose clamp No.1 ( a ): 4 N·m ( 0.4 kg-m, 3.0 lb-ft)
• Install front bumper.
