Boost Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Inspection - Suzuki Jimny Workshop Manual

1) Remove boost pressure control solenoid valve referring to Boost Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Removal and Installation:K9K .

2) Check for resistance between boost pressure control solenoid valve terminals.
If resistance is not as specified, replace boost pressure control solenoid valve.

3) Apply vacuum 80 kPa (0.8 kg/cm² 11.5 psi) to boost pressure control valve using special tool. If vacuum can be applied, go to the next step. If not, replace boost pressure control valve.

4) Connect 12 V battery to boost pressure control valve terminals. In this state, apply vacuum 70 kPa (0.7 kg/cm² 10.1 psi) to the outlet nozzle using a special tool. If vacuum can not be applied, boost pressure control valve is in good condition. If not, replace boost pressure control valve.
