Signal circuit check
1)
Turn OFF ignition switch.
2)
Measure voltage at terminal “E119-35” of ECM connector, under the following condition.
Voltage at terminal “E119-35” of ECM connector
While engine cranking: 6 – 14 V
After starting engine: 0 – 1 V
Is each voltage within specified?

Poor “E119-35” connection or intermittent trouble. Check for intermittent referring to
Intermittent and Poor Connection Inspection
.
If wire and connections are OK, substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
|
“BLK/RED” (A/T vehicle) or “BLK/YEL” (M/T vehicle) wire in open circuit or high resistance circuit.
